This work demonstrates the use of a solid-state nanopore detector to monitor the activity of a single molecule of a model enzyme, horseradish peroxidase (HRP). This detector includes a measuring cell, which is divided into cis- and trans- chambers by a silicon nitride chip (SiN structure) with a nanopore of 5 nm in diameter. To entrap a single HRP molecule into the nanopore, an electrode had been placed into the cis-chamber; HRP solution was added into this chamber after application of a negative voltage.

We present a case of successful implantation of a cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) using combined technique in a child with Timothy's syndrome. Due to high risk of sudden cardiac death (SCD) such patients often need ICD for primary or secondary prevention but implantation technique in young children remains controversial. The subcutaneous cardioverter-defibrillators could be an option in some cases, however, reliable cardiac pacing should be implemented for patients with bradyarrhythmias.

Two-dimensional (2D) antiferromagnetic (AFM) semiconductors are promising components of opto-spintronic devices due to terahertz operation frequencies and minimal interactions with stray fields. However, the lack of net magnetization significantly limits the number of experimental techniques available to study the relationship between magnetic order and semiconducting properties. Here, they demonstrate conditions under which photocurrent spectroscopy can be employed to study many-body magnetic excitons in the 2D AFM semiconductor NiI.
