Because of the lengthening of their life-expectancy, more people with cystic fibrosis (CF) now pursue parenthood. To explore the experience of parenting while having CF, 18 French parents with CF were interviewed (including 12 mothers and 9 participants with a lung transplant). A thematic analysis of the interview transcripts was conducted.

Chronic inflammation contributes to the prevalence of cardiovascular disease in people living with HIV (PLWH). The immune mechanisms driving atherosclerosis progression in PLWH remain unclear. This study conducted comprehensive assessments of medium-sized coronary arteries and aorta from deceased PLWH and controls without HIV using DNA/RNA assays, spatial transcriptomics, and high-resolution mass spectrometry.

Purpose: Despite numerous mentoring strategies to promote academic success and eligibility in medicine, Black students remain disproportionately underrepresented in medicine. Therefore, we conducted a scoping review to identify the mentoring practices available to Black pre-medical students, medical students and medical residents, specifically the mentoring strategies used, their application, and their evaluation.
