Bone defects are a prevalent category of skeletal tissue disorders in clinical practice, with a range of pathogenic factors and frequently suboptimal clinical treatment effects. In bone regeneration of bone defects, the bone regeneration microenvironment-composed of physiological, chemical, and physical components-is the core element that dynamically coordinates to promote bone regeneration. In recent years, medical biomaterials with bioactivity and functional tunability have been widely researched upon and applied in the fields of tissue replacement/regeneration, and remodelling of organ structure and function.

Lycium barbarum is an important economic crop in the arid region of Northwest China, and the regulation of irrigation and fertilisation is an important way to improve the quality and yield of Lycium barbarum. To explore the effects of water-fertiliser coupling on photosynthesis, quality and yield of Lycium barbarum under irrigation methods based on predicted crop evapotranspiration (ET), ET was calculated via reference evapotranspiration (ET) predicted on the basis of public weather forecasts, and the irrigation water volume was determined as a proportion of this ET. A field experiment was conducted via a completely randomised experimental design with five irrigation water volumes (W0 (100% ET), W1 (90% ET), W2 (80% ET), W3 (70% ET) and W4 (65% ET)) and three fertiliser application rates (high fertiliser (FH), medium fertiliser (FM) and low fertiliser (FL)).

Diffusible signal factor (DSF)-c-di-GMP-mediated strategies have been proposed as an effective regulatory approach for signal molecules in aerobic granular sludge (AGS). The increase in temperature from low to normal levels had a significant impact on AGS stability. In this study, two reactors were established to investigate the effects of different temperature rise modes (abrupt or gradual) on AGS stability.

The coal mine workplace environment is a significant factor in inducing occupational health issues, such as intestinal dysfunction in coal miners. However, the mechanism by which the coal mine workplace environment induces intestinal dysfunction is still unclear. Therefore, we applied the Coal Mine Workplace Environment Biological Simulation (CEBS) model which was previously constructed to detect the intestinal pathological manifestations and changes in the gut microbiota of mice from the perspectives of intestinal function, tissue morphology, and cell molecules.

Data is the core foundation of intelligent operation and maintenance, but currently, there is generally insufficient data for wastewater treatment plants, and the status of wastewater treatment systems dynamically evolves with the changes in the internal and external environment. The intelligent operation and maintenance of wastewater plants face difficulties in modeling and model drift caused by system evolution. In response to this issue, the summer and winter seasons with significant differences in wastewater temperature, wastewater quality, and microbial status were selected as typical comparison scenarios.
