: Chronic inflammation plays a critical role in pelvic pain among endometriosis patients. This study examines the association between inflammatory markers-specifically the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR)-and pelvic pain in endometriosis. : We conducted a retrospective analysis of endometriosis patients, assessing NLR and PLR levels in those with and without pelvic pain.

There is also a high occurrence of sarcopenia in metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) patients, who are often disregarded. Both experimental and clinical findings suggest a complex, bidirectional relationship between MASLD and sarcopenia.

In this paper, we study the well-posedness properties of a stochastic rotating shallow water system. An inviscid version of this model has first been derived in Holm (Proc R Soc A 471:20140963, 2015) and the noise is chosen according to the Stochastic Advection by Lie Transport theory presented in Holm (Proc R Soc A 471:20140963, 2015). The system is perturbed by noise modulated by a function that is not Lipschitz in the norm where the well-posedness is sought.
