Development of the treatment preference in myelodysplasia questionnaire for clinicians, carers, and patients.

This study reports the development activities for the Treatment Preference Myelodysplasia Questionnaires (TPMQ) for clinicians (mTPMQ), carers (cTPMQ), and patients (pTPMQ). These tools are intended to evaluate treatment preferences for patients with myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS). This was a non-interventional, cross-sectional qualitative interview study consisting of interviews with clinicians, patients, and those caring for patients with MDS.

Student Performance Metrics and the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam ® : A 3-Year Multi-Institutional Study.

Introduction: Given the 2019 Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam (PANCE) blueprint update from the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants, it is imperative that programs conduct analyses of student performance metrics and PANCE scores. The purpose of this multi-institutional study was to examine the relationship between PANCE scores and student performance metrics/attributes from PA program graduates from 2017-2019.

Methods: A multiple linear regression was calculated to predict PANCE score indicators based on student attributes and performance metrics from 3 PA programs.

Adapting a palliative care-focused cancer self- and family management intervention for use in Israel.

Background: In Israel, there is a need to improve quality of life and health outcomes among patients and families facing cancer. Increasing awareness of, literacy about, and availability of palliative care may further this goal.

Aims: This study aimed to adapt a palliative care-focused cancer self- and family management intervention developed in the US for use in Israel.
