Purpose: An effective blood-based test for pancreatic cancer (PC) screening has remained elusive. The IMMray PanCan-d is the first commercially available blood-based test specifically designed for early detection of PC; however, outcomes from its use in clinical practice have not been reported.

Methods: We performed a blinded spike-in study of 100 individuals who had an IMMray PanCan-d test, including 94 high-risk individuals (HRIs) undergoing PC surveillance and six individuals with known PC.

Generating hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) from pluripotent stem cells (PSCs) has been a long-lasting quest in the field of hematopoiesis. Previous studies suggested that enforced expression of BCR-ABL, the unique oncogenic driver of chronic myelogeneous leukemia (CML), in embryonic stem cells (ESCs)-derived hematopoietic cells is sufficient to confer long-term in vivo repopulating potential. To precisely uncover the molecular events regulated by the tyrosine kinase activity of BCR-ABL1 (p210) during the course of hematopoietic differentiation, we engineered a Tet-ON inducible system to modulate its expression in murine ESCs (mESCs).

Background: The study purpose is to compare outcomes associated with completion of genetic testing between telemedicine and in-person gastrointestinal cancer risk assessment appointments during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Methods: Data was collected on patients with scheduled appointments between July 2020 and June 2021 in a gastrointestinal cancer risk evaluation program (GI-CREP) that utilized both telemedicine and in-person visits throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, and a survey was administered.

Results: A total of 293 patients had a GI-CREP appointment scheduled and completion rates of in-person versus telemedicine appointments were similar.
