The chemical looping co-gasification of nitrogen-containing algal biomass and coal could effectively realize the high-value utilization of gasification products, but the mechanism of conversion of nitrogen-containing pollutants is not clear. In this work, the effects of the different ratios of microalgae on the co-gasification process were first explored, and the results showed that the 40 % coal + 60 % microalgae blending had the best synergistic effect, with a comprehensive synergistic index (CSI) of 1.35 as the maximum value.

Colorectal cancer (CRC) remains a significant global health challenge, underscoring the need for innovative therapeutic strategies. Oncogenic miRNAs (oncomiRs) play a significant biological role in the initiation and progression of colorectal cancer. Inspired by the cooperative mechanisms of plant nanovirus, which employ multiple circular single-stranded DNA (CssDNA) genomes, it is hypothesized that the development and delivery of CssDNA to target oncomiRs would achieve therapeutic benefits in CRC.

Introduction: X842 is a new type of gastric acid-suppressing agent with a rapid onset of action and a long duration of effect. We aim to investigate the efficacy and safety of different doses of X842 versus lansoprazole in the treatment of patients with erosive esophagitis (EE).

Methods: This phase 2 study included 90 patients with EE (Los Angeles grades A-D) who were randomized (1:1:1) to receive oral low-dose X842 (50 mg/day, n=31), high-dose X842 (100 mg/day, n=31), or lansoprazole (30 mg/day, n=30) for 4 weeks.
