Quantifying protein levels in genetically modified (GM) crops is crucial in every phase of development, deregulation, and seed production. Immunoassays, particularly enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, have been the primary protein quantitation techniques for decades within the industry due to their efficiency, adaptability, and credibility. Newer immunoassay technologies like Meso Scale Discovery and Luminex offer enhanced sensitivity and multiplexing capabilities.

Management of renal malignancies in Von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) is challenging. We present six patients [mean age = 35.1 years (range: 24-54), males = 5] with VHL syndrome with multiple bilateral renal malignancies and the lessons learned during their management.

"Purple yam" ( is one of the underutilized yams in Sri Lanka with high nutritional potential. The overall objective of this study was to develop gluten-free muffins using "Purple yam" ( flour with hydrocolloids (pectin, xanthan gum, and guar gum) and investigate the nutritional composition and selected properties of the muffins.

Associations of Emotional Behavior with Nutritional Status and Lifestyle Habits among Schoolchildren Aged 5-10 Years in Sri Lanka.

We aimed to examine the relationships of lifestyle habits and nutritional status with emotional behavior among schoolchildren in Sri Lanka. Five hundred and eight schoolchildren (195 boys and 313 girls) aged 5-10 years were included. Emotional and behavioral problems were assessed using the Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire.
