This study designed an in vitro model to test the efficacies of footbath sanitizers for use in dairy processing plants. Efficacies of selected sanitizers for inactivation of mixed-cocktail, dairy-relevant Gram-negative bacteria in model footbaths, in the presence of milk residues, were measured over 7 days against attached and planktonic populations by plate counting and calculating log reductions achieved. A simplified practical table ranked the most to least effective sanitizers.

Objectives: The main objective of this study was to implement an online pediatric case-based POCUS course in low-resource medical settings and examine learning outcomes and feasibility.

Methods: This was a multicenter prospective cohort study conducted in a convenience sample of clinicians affiliated with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) training sites. MSF POCUS trainers provided the standard hands-on, on-site POCUS training and supplemented this with access to a web-based course.

Isotopically labelled molecules are vital tools within drug discovery and are used extensively to assess a given candidate's absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion, and toxicity (ADMET) profile. Related to this, transition metal-catalyzed hydrogen isotope exchange (HIE) has become a prominent technique for the rapid and selective late-stage installation of a deuterium or tritium label. Despite having a generally wide applicability, the current state-of-the-art in this specific field is limited when particularly co-ordinating motifs are present within a given molecule to be labelled.
