A data citation roadmap for scientific publishers.

This article presents a practical roadmap for scholarly publishers to implement data citation in accordance with the Joint Declaration of Data Citation Principles (JDDCP), a synopsis and harmonization of the recommendations of major science policy bodies. It was developed by the Publishers Early Adopters Expert Group as part of the Data Citation Implementation Pilot (DCIP) project, an initiative of FORCE11.org and the NIH BioCADDIE program.

Oral-facial-digital syndrome with retinal abnormalities: OFDS type IX. A further case report.

The oral-facial-digital syndromes (OFDS) are a heterogeneous group. Recently, Gurrieri et al. [1992: Am J Med Genet 42:789-792] described a new OFDS characterised by typical oral, facial and digital abnormalities but distinguishable from previously reported OFDS by the presence of retinochoroidal lacunae of an apparently colobomatous origin.

Ankyloglossum superius syndrome.

The case of a male infant with the ankyloglossum superius syndrome is documented. In addition to oromandibular and limb malformations, the patient had extensive jejunal and ileal atresia. The cause of this syndrome remains unknown, but both genetic and intrauterine environmental factors have been suggested.
