: Over the years, it was noticed that patients with diabetes have reached an alarming number worldwide. Diabetes presents many complications, including diabetic kidney disease (DKD), which can be considered the leading cause of end-stage renal disease. The invasive mucinous adenocarcinoma of the lungs (LIMA) is an uncommon histological subtype of the mucinous adenocarcinoma. In this article, we present the case of a patient with a very high cardiovascular risk profile, diagnosed with LIMA, pericardial tamponade due to secondary dissemination, and pulmonary embolism, whose management rouses many challenges. Despite receiving the correct anticoagulant and antiaggregant therapy, our patient developed repeated acute major cardiovascular events leading to a fatal outcome.

The aims of this study were to investigate the prevalence of fatigue in PD patients compared to healthy controls and to identify the main characteristics and associations of fatigue with other non-motor symptoms and the impact of fatigue on sleep disturbances in Parkinson's disease.
