Ameloblastic fibroma (AF) is a benign mixed epithelial and mesenchymal odontogenic tumor. This was previously grouped in odontogenic tumor showing odontogenic epithelium with odontogenic ectomesenchyme, with or without hard tissue formation. This report describes a case of ameloblastic fibroma in a 37-yearold male who came with the complain of swelling in the left side of lower jaw since one year.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFBackground: Cancer patients frequently experience psychological problems related to reactions to cancer diagnosis, cancer type and stage, treatment effects, recurrence, fear of end-of-life, survivorship, and financial burden. Depression and anxiety are both psychological and physiological disturbances among cancer patients.
Aim: To assess the prevalence of depression and anxiety among cancer patients attending a tertiary care cancer hospital.
In this ecological study, we aim to establish the role vaccines play in bringing the pandemic under control, as well as the impact of pathogen variants, vaccine hesitancy, and medical resource availability during the process by utilizing publicly available data. The study spans a three-year data collection period for daily hospital admissions due to COVID-19 and the daily reported cases of COVID-19 across all 50 states in the USA. In doing so, we aim to demonstrate the difference in severity of the SARS-CoV-2 pathogen among vaccinated and unvaccinated populations in the USA.

Despite high demand for the vaccines in Nepal, the country still contends with challenges related to vaccine accessibility, equitable vaccine distribution, and vaccine hesitancy. Study objectives were to identify: 1) up-take and intention for use of COVID-19 vaccines, 2) factors associated with vaccine up-take, and 3) trusted communication strategies about COVID-19 and the vaccines.
