Healthcare professionals' experiences of the change to telephone consultations in cancer care during the COVID-19 pandemic: An explorative qualitative study.

Objective: During the COVID-19 pandemic, changes were made in cancer care including increased use of teleconsultations (TCs) and restrictions for relatives to attend in-person appointments at the outpatient clinics. This study aimed to provide in-depth information on healthcare professionals' experiences of TC and the limited access for relatives during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

Methods: This qualitative study was conducted at an oncological department responsible for oncological care of all patients with cancer in one of five health regions in Denmark.

Therefore, it is of the utmost importance to enhance our comprehension of the disease's development. The regulation of diet, obesity, and inflammation in type 2 diabetes is believed to play a crucial role in enhancing insulin sensitivity and reducing the risk of onset diabetes.

Reliability of MScanFit Motor Unit Number Estimation in the Trapezius Muscle.

Introduction/aims: MScanFit motor unit number estimation (MUNE) is the most recent MUNE method which has shown promising results in extremity muscles, but it has not been applied to bulbar muscles. Bulbar muscles are particularly important in the diagnosis of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). This study aimed to investigate the feasibility and reliability of MScanFit MUNE in the accessory nerve and trapezius muscles.

Anatomy of a hotspot: Cisplatin hotspots in the tdk gene of Escherichia coli.

We previously reported that certain sub-regions of the thyA gene of Escherichia coli are more mutable than others when many different mutagens and mutators are analyzed (Mashiach et al., Mutation Research Fundamental Molecular Mechansims of Mutagenesis, 821: 111702, 2021). In this study, we focus on a single mutagen, cisplatin and verify that mutations occur preferentially at specific 3 bp sequences, but only when they appear in certain subregions of the gene.
