As multiple UN fora develop parallel rules for sharing benefits from digital sequence information, we urge better coordination. We previously reported that a brief train of PP stimuli evokes strong supralinear temporal summation of excitatory postsynaptic potentials (EPSPs) in CA1 PNs that requires NMDAR activation, with relatively little summation in CA2 PNs in mice of either sex. Here we provide evidence from combined immunogold electron microscopy, cell-type specific genetic deletion and pharmacology that the NMDARs required for supralinear temporal summation of the CA1 PP EPSP are presynaptic, located in the PP terminals.

Interestingly, WM disruption has been consistently observed and thoroughly described using imaging modalities, particularly MRI which has shown WM functional disconnections between the hippocampus and other brain regions during AD pathogenesis when early neurodegeneration and synapse loss are also evident. Nonetheless, high-resolution structural and functional analyses of WM during AD pathogenesis remain scarce.

Aims: As transcatheter mitral valve (MV) interventions are expanding and more device types and sizes become available, a tool supporting operators in pre-procedural planning and the clinical decision-making process is highly desirable. We sought to develop a finite element computational simulation model to predict the results of transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (TEER) interventions.
Methods And Results: We prospectively enrolled patients with secondary mitral regurgitation (MR) referred for a clinically indicated TEER.
AbstractTropical ectotherms are thought to be especially vulnerable to climate change because they have evolved in temporally stable thermal environments and therefore have decreased tolerance for thermal variability. Thus, they are expected to have narrow thermal tolerance ranges, live close to their upper thermal tolerance limits, and have decreased thermal acclimation capacity. Although models often predict that tropical forest ectotherms are especially vulnerable to rapid environmental shifts, these models rarely include the potential for plasticity of relevant traits.
