[The characteristics of actual curse of infectious endocarditis in cardiac surgery hospital].

The demographic and clinical data of 520 patients with infectious endocarditis treated in 2005-2017 was analyzed with the purpose to assess current trends in epidemiology and approaches to surgical correction of infectious endocarditis. The analysis established increasing of absolute number of patients with infectious endocarditis, their average age and number of female patients. The incidence of early prosthetic endocarditis and its hospital mortality decreased.

[Prophylaxis of ischemic heart lesions during chronic heart failure with complex therapy using Q10 coenzyme].

Dysfunction of energy processes in the myocardium, resulting the background of ischemic syndrome, and inadequate intake of energy substrates process and/or breach of energetic cofactors of oxidation are an important pathogenetic aspects of the progression of myocardial dysfunction and congestive heart failure. Level of Q10 Coenzyme plays a key role in the functioning of the respiratory mitochondrial chains, exerting a significant influence on the synthesis of ATP. The article provides data on the use of Q10 coenzyme in the treatment of 76 patients with circulatory failure.

[Use of thymogen in the treatment of various forms of acute abdominal disorders in an experiment].

The authors have carried out experimental studies of thymogen action on the course of acute pancreatitis and acute peritonitis in white albino rat males. The preparation was introduced into the abdominal cavity early after the modeling and every 24 hours for 5 days. The results of the trial demonstrate that the degree of autoenzyme aggression (the data of blood serum alpha-amylolytic activity control) and the content of lipid peroxidation products (assessment of malonic dialdehyde quantity in tissue homogenate) were low in the experimental group as compared to the untreated animals.
