Shelf-life quality evaluation and smartphone-based phenolic analysis of cassava treated with varied chitosan formulations.

Phenolic compounds exhibit potent antioxidant properties and defense mechanisms in plants, serving as quality biomarkers. This study investigates the effect of chitosan formulations, incorporated with 1 % and 2 % ascorbic acid and quercetin, for extending cassava shelf life and improving nutritional quality. The PhotoMetrix® smartphone App was employed to analyze the impact of these treatment-formulations on their total phenolic contents (TPC) using RGB (Red-Green-Blue) color scale, validated by statistical analysis.

Introducing of an Unexplored Aza-BODIPY Diradicaloids with 4-(2,6-Di-butyl)phenoxyl Radicals Located in 1,7-Positions of the Aza-BODIPY Core.

We have prepared and characterized two diradicaloid systems and that originated from the oxidation of a 1,7-(4-(2,6-di--butyl)phenol)-substituted aza-BODIPY core. The aza-BODIPY diradicaloids were characterized by a large array of experimental and computational methods. The diamagnetic closed-shell state was postulated as the ground state in solution and a solid-state with the substantial thermal population originating from both open-shell diradical and open-shell triplet states observed at room temperature.

Impact of the Neonatal Resuscitation Video Review program for neonatal staff: a qualitative analysis.

Background: Neonatal resuscitation video review (NRVR) involves recording and reviewing resuscitations for education and quality assurance. Though NRVR has been shown to improve teamwork and skill retention, it is not widely used. We evaluated clinicians' experiences of NRVR to understand how NRVR impacts learning and can be improved.
