Unlabelled: Brain morphology understanding is essential for radiologists, neurologists, and neurosurgeons. Historically, anatomical learning of brain relied on ex vivo specimens. Modern in vivo brain CT and MRI provide spatial, three-dimensional imaging capabilities crucial to help diagnose diseases, plan surgeries, and monitor treatment progress.

Previous trials of seedling culture of , the dominant seagrass of the Mediterranean Sea, recorded up to 40% loss due to mould development.

Methods: Sports type, weekly time devoted to it, and psychopathological self-reports (Eating Disorders Examination Questionnaire 6.0, Body Uneasiness Test, and Muscle Dysmorphia Disorder Inventory) were evaluated longitudinally in a general population sample enrolled in a previous study, testing prospective variations in an observational setting.
Caring for the dying can generate anxiety and emotional distress, particularly in nursing students, and perceived competence could play a crucial role in enabling nurses to perform their duties with greater confidence. Unfortunately, few studies describe the relationship between students' nursing attitudes and perceived self-efficacy in palliative care (PC). To overcome this gap, this survey aimed to assess the attitudes towards dying patients and the perceived competence of nursing students in palliative care at different universities in the south of Italy.

Fishing has significant trophodynamic impacts on marine communities, including reductions in the mean trophic position (TP) of the ecosystem resulting from a decrease in the abundance and size of species and individuals with high TPs. This study demonstrates the erosion of fish TP, an additional process that results in lower TP of individuals of a given size, which may exacerbate the effects of fishing on the food web. A stable isotope approach based on the tRophicPosition Bayesian method was used to quantify the TP of 12 target marine species at a given length, and compare their TP between fishery-restricted areas and trawled areas.

In recent years, the development of new formulations promoted the spread of pheromone-based mating disruption (MD) as an effective tool for the management of several insect pests in different agricultural contexts. In this study, we investigated the efficacy of an experimental dispenser designed for simultaneous MD of these two pests.

Radiologists, neurosurgeons, neuro-oncologists, and radiation oncologists rely on brain MRI for diagnosis, treatment planning, and longitudinal treatment monitoring. However, automated, objective, and quantitative tools for non-invasive assessment of meningiomas on multi-sequence MR images are not available.

Written exams of ESNR were used as input data, related to anatomy/embryology (30 questions), neuro-oncology (50 questions), head and neck (50 questions), and pediatrics (50 questions). All exams together, and each exam separately were introduced to the three LLMs: chatGPT 3.

These AI tools offer valuable support to radiologists, assisting them in critical tasks such as prioritizing reporting, early cancer detection, and precise measurements, thereby bolstering clinical decision-making. With the healthcare landscape witnessing a surge in imaging requests and a decline in available radiologists, the integration of AI has become increasingly appealing.

Methods: An online questionnaire was emailed to all European Society of Neuroradiology (ESNR) members (n = 1662) who had expressed their interest in NMD. The questionnaire featured 40 individual items.

Our goal was to determine if "Nomenclature 2.0," the classification of lumbar disk pathology consensus, should be updated. We conducted a social media and e-mail-based survey on preferences regarding the use of classification on magnetic resonance spine reporting.

Among them 57 RCPs and 46 outpatients, matched to 112 healthy controls, also underwent ecological monitoring of emotions (8 times/day for a week) through Experience Sampling Method (ESM). RCPs spent significantly less time in PA than outpatients.

This cross-sectional observational study aimed at investigating the relationship between various patterns of sports involvement or inactivity, and the abovementioned psychopathological dimensions.
Methods: All adolescents attending their 3rd-5th Italian grade in a single high school reported their sociodemographic and anthropometric data, their weekly sports involvement, and filled the Eating Disorders Examination Questionnaire 6.
Recent advances in machine learning and artificial intelligence technology have ensured automated evaluation of medical images. As a result, quantifiable diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers have been created. We discuss radiomics applications for the head and neck region in this paper.

These characteristics of migrants can exert an influence on access to healthcare, diagnostic evaluation, and use of therapeutic resources. The present work aimed to compare these differences among individuals who received their first clinical evaluation at the Mental Health Outpatient Service of Prato in 2019-2021, exploring variations across time, among the entire non-native population, and based on their continent of origin.

Methods: A 16-question online survey to assess preferences regarding virtual conferences during the COVID-19 pandemic and future perspectives on this subject was disseminated internationally online between June and August 2020.
Findings: A total of 508 responses were received from 73 countries.
Background: Long-acting injectable antipsychotics (LAIs) have been shown to reduce acute episodes of schizophrenia spectrum disorders (SSDs). However, breakthrough relapses are frequent, possibly because of underdosing in clinical practice. In this framework, the advantages of therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) may be overlooked.

The present study aimed to perform a preliminary evaluation of potentially different correlations between the Aberrant Salience Inventory (ASI) score and dimensional or categorical diagnostic approaches.
Methods: 168 adult outpatients with a current psychiatric diagnosis were consecutively enrolled.
Aberrant salience (AS) is an anomalous world experience which plays a major role in psychotic proneness. In the general population, a deployment of this construct - encompassing personality traits, psychotic-like symptoms, and cannabis use - could prove useful to outline the relative importance of these factors. For this purpose, 106 postgraduate university students filled the AS Inventory (ASI), the Community Assessment of Psychic Experiences (CAPE), the Temperament and Character Inventory (TCI), and the Symptom Checklist 90-Revised (SCL-90-R).
