Context: Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a common sexual disorder. In France, recent evidence-based guidelines are lacking.
Aim: To provide practice guidelines on ED therapeutic management.
Aims: To assess the outcomes of robotic surgery for patients with neurogenic lower urinary tract dysfunctions (NLUTD).
Materials And Methods: Studies evaluating the outcomes (efficacy and safety) of robot-assisted ileal conduit creation or artificial urinary sphincter (R-AUS) implantation or augmentation cystoplasty or continent urinary diversion creation in patients with NLUTD were included. The search strategy and studies selection were performed on Medline, Embase and Cochrane using the PICOS method according to the PRISMA statement (PROSPERO 2022 CRD42022333157).
Background And Objective: Lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) and overactive bladder (OAB) intimately affect the psychological wellbeing and mental health of men. However, to date, the association of aggression with LUTS and OAB has not been investigated. To address this knowledge gap, we evaluated the association of aggression with LUTS and OAB in a large representative cohort of men at the population level.

However, only a few studies have been conducted with representative groups of men that had well-balanced demographic characteristics. Thus, we aimed to confirm the effect of LUTS on ED and PE and to analyze the association between LUTS and men's sexual activity in a large representative cohort.

Materials And Methods: We collected national common classification of medical acts (CCAM) coding data for all procedures involving andrological surgery from the Scansanté internet platform set up by the Technical Agency for Information on Hospitalisation, which collects prospectively from healthcare structures all procedures coded according to CCAM coding.
Introduction: With 50 years' experience, inflatable penile implants are the preferred option for erectile dysfunction refractory to pharmacological and mechanical treatment. Technical and surgical improvements have optimized patient success and satisfaction. However, multi-factorial dissatisfaction persists.

Material And Method: We analyzed the responses of 32 experts, 18 residents and three chatbots (ChatGPT v3.
Purpose: The effect of overactive bladder (OAB) on sexual health has been evaluated extensively for women but much less for men. Therefore, the aim of this study was to evaluate the relationship between OAB and men's sexual activity and the effect of OAB on erectile dysfunction (ED) and premature ejaculation (PE) in a large representative cohort of men at the population level.
Methods: This study was based on computer-assisted web interviews that used validated questionnaires.
Purpose Of Review: The aim of this narrative review is to evaluate the current available literature on urinary outcomes following cryotherapy and high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) for localized prostate cancer (PCa).
Recent Findings: The available literature is heterogeneous in terms of intervention modalities and assessment of urinary outcome measures. Nevertheless, ultra-minimally invasive treatments seem to provide good urinary outcomes.
Context: Midurethral slings (MUSs) are the most used therapy for the treatment of stress urinary incontinence (SUI). While warning signals about potential complications have been raised worldwide, there is a lack of safety data especially in the long term.
Objective: Our objective was to evaluate synthetic MUS safety outcomes at long term in adult women.
Introduction: Urological cancers can be challenging in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with neurological diseases. As a result, there are still uncertainties regarding the incidence and risk factors favouring the development of urological cancers in these patients. The aim of this study was to review the available evidence regarding the incidence for the development of urological cancers in neurological patients to provide a basis for future recommendations and research.

Nevertheless, gender inequity at urological conferences is common place and women are often stereotyped choosing functional urology. However, there is no evidence whether female representation is higher in functional urology.

Material: Questionnaire validation was performed in three steps: translation into French by two urologists, its validation by the committee of andrologist and sexual medicine (CAMS) and an independent translation in English by another urologist to exclude any distortion with the original version. Furthermore, the questionnaire was tested in few patients having penile implant.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the incidence of bladder cancer (BCa) in patients with the main neurological diseases that induce neurogenic lower urinary tract dysfunction, namely, multiple sclerosis (MS), spinal cord injury (SCI) and spina bifida (SB).
Methods: We conducted a retrospective analysis of nationwide data from the French Hospital Discharge Database (PMSI) from January 2010 to December 2018. The incidence of BCa was calculated in patients with MS, SCI and SB.
Purpose: To evaluate the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on functional urology procedures in France.
Methods: A prospective study was conducted within 11 secondary and tertiary referral centers in France. Patients aged > 18 years who were diagnosed with a functional urology disease before the national lockdown (March 17th, 2020) and who required a surgery were included.
Objectives: To report the functional outcomes of robot-assisted laparoscopic artificial urinary sphincter implantation (R-AUS) in men with neurogenic stress urinary incontinence (SUI).
Patients And Methods: A monocentric retrospective study included all consecutive adult male neuro-urological patients who underwent R-AUS for SUI between January 2011 and August 2018. The AUS was implanted via a transperitoneal robot-assisted laparoscopic approach.
Purpose: To assess the outcomes after artificial urinary sphincter (AUS) implantation in older women aged over 75 years.
Methods: A monocentric retrospective study included all non-neurological women aged over 75 years suffering from stress urinary incontinence (SUI) due to intrinsic sphincter deficiency and undergoing an AUS placement between 1991 and 2015. Early postoperative complications were reported according to Clavien-Dindo classification.
Study Design: Retrospective cohort study.
Objectives: To report the long-term complications of non-continent cutaneous urinary diversion (NCCUD) in adult patients with spinal cord injury (SCI).
Setting: Hospital in Paris, France.
Background: Live surgery remains controversial. Although it may improve surgical training and accelerate the dissemination of technical steps of surgical procedures, controversy exists regarding patient safety in live surgery.
Objective: To compare the perioperative outcomes of "en bloc" green laser enucleation of the prostate (GreenLEP) performed in workshops during live case demonstration (LCD) and in standard conditions (SCs).
Background: Identifying the predictive factors for hospital readmission is required to target preventive measures.
Objective: To assess the rate of surgical readmissions after a urological procedure and the risk factors associated with readmission.
Design, Setting, And Participants: Data from all hospitalizations between January 2010 and November 2012 in France, regarding planned urological surgeries, were retrieved from the national medical database.
Introduction: To describe a new technique for superficial implantation of the I-Stop TOMS transobturator sling and present the clinical outcomes on patients treated for mild to moderate urinary incontinence after radical prostatectomy.
Technical Considerations: We evaluated the four-arm sub urethral sling I-Stop TOMS performed in our institution between March 2012 and March 2015 using a superficial implantation technique. After a small incision, the perineal aponeurosis was incised but no muscle dissection was performed.
