- Male C57 BL/6 J mice were fed either a control diet or a high-fat diet for 12 weeks, with some receiving different antioxidant-rich EVOO supplements.
- Results showed that the highest antioxidant EVOO significantly decreased liver fat accumulation and normalized oxidative stress and fatty acid levels, suggesting it may help prevent metabolic issues in high-fat diet conditions.
