Stunting is defined by height of more than two standard deviations below the World Health Organization's (WHO) child growth standard median. It is a significant nutritional problem in developing countries, where in 2021, Indonesia recorded a stunting prevalence at 24.4%, slightly higher than the global prevalence (22%).
