Background: A pediatric national heart review board (NHRB) and exception guidance document to standardize decision-making were implemented in 2021 to reduce variability and ensure equity in status exceptions for pediatric candidates. We evaluated the hypothesis that these changes decreased center variability and racial disparities within the granted exceptions.

The objective was to determine whether gravity support for the left arm of right-handed participants would increase left arm use during a three-dimensional (3-D) reaching task in virtual reality. Twelve healthy control participants each completed 630 reaching movements broken into six blocks. The majority of targets were placed close to the midsagittal plane at three heights, and participants were free to use either limb when reaching for targets.

We prospectively evaluated the safety and response of EUS-guided fine needle injection (EUS-FNI) of LSAM-PTX to chemoablate branch duct (BD)-IPMNs.

Despite the increasing rate of detection of incidental pancreatic cystic lesions (PCLs), current standard-of-care methods for their diagnosis and risk stratification remain inadequate. Intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms (IPMNs) are the most prevalent PCLs. The existing modalities, including endoscopic ultrasound and cyst fluid analysis, only achieve accuracy rates of 65-75% in identifying carcinoma or high-grade dysplasia in IPMNs.
