Collision tumors are rarely reported in patients with von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) disease, even though VHL patients often present with multi-organ tumor syndromes, like hemangioblastoma and renal cell carcinoma (RCC). Hemangioblastoma is rarely located in a supratentorial location, and intracranial lateral ventricular is also not a common site of metastasis for RCC. The purpose of this study was to compare the effectiveness of apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) maps generated from ultrahigh b-value diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) for molecular grading with that for histological grading of adult-type diffuse glioma, and to evaluate the correlation between these ADC maps and molecular and histological biomarkers.
Methods: This study retrospectively enrolled forty adult-type diffuse glioma patients, diagnosed using the 2021 WHO classification criteria.
Background: Bilateral carotid body tumors with a concomitant skull-base paraganglioma are extremely rare, of which only one case has been reported in the literature to date.
Case Presentation: We present the case of a 35-year-old male with 1 year of hypertension and high levels of dopamine and 3-methoxytyramine. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans demonstrated three separate masses at the left middle cranial fossa floor and bilateral carotid bifurcation.

However, little information is available on the underlying mechanisms through which SND1 affects glioma cell proliferation and invasion.
Methods: SND1, Ras homolog family member A (RhoA), and marker of proliferation Ki-67 (MKI67) were analyzed in 187 gliomas by immunostaining.
Cerebral metabolism alterations influence cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) composition and are sensitive to brain injury. In subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) patients, Fisher scale, Hunt-Hess scale, and World Federation of Neurological Societies (WFNS) grading scale evaluating SAH severity are inadequate to predict long-term outcome; therefore, in an effort to determine metabolite pattern disparity and discover corresponding biomarkers, we designed an untargeted CSF metabolomic study covering a broad range of metabolites of SAH patients with different severity and outcome. The present study demonstrated the SAH altered the cerebrospinal fluid metabolome involving carbohydrate, lipid, and amino acid metabolism.
