Evaluation of Associated Markers of Neonatal Pathological Jaundice Due to Bacterial Infection.

Background: To evaluate changes of associated markers in neonatal pathological jaundice due to bacterial infection in newborns, to provide an experimental basis for early diagnosis and treatment of neonatal pathological jaundice.

Methods: A total of 126 newborns with neonatal pathological jaundice in the Pediatrics Department of Qilu Hospital (Qingdao), Cheeloo College of Medicine, Shandong University from Jan 2016 to Jun 2018 were enrolled. The patients were divided into bacterial infection group (76 cases with combined bacterial infection) and non-infection group (50 cases without bacterial infection).

Introduction: Osteosarcoma (OS), aggressive neoplasms of the bone, is the most common primary bone cancer in children. MiR-196a usually low expressed in several tumors and its functions in osteosarcoma still unclear.

Background: To investigate the characterizations of CT (computed tomography) and MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) in patients with carotid atherosclerosis.

Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed on the medical records of 264 patients with carotid atherosclerosis underwent CT and MRI in Linyi Central Hospital, Linyi, China from January 2010 to January 2016. Among them, 142 patients with ischemic stroke were in experimental group (test group), another 122 patients in control group.

Effect of high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) uterine fibroid ablation on the endometrial receptivity and sex hormone level in uterine fibroid patients and the influencing factors for treatment rate were investigated. A retrospective analysis of 266 uterine fibroid patients admitted to the Department of Gynaecology in the Jining Maternity and Child Care Hospital from October 2013 to October 2016 was performed. Among them, observation group was treated with HIFU ablation (n=143), control group with myomectomy (n=123).

Objective: Osteosarcoma is the most common malignant tumor of bone with high recurrent rate. miR-486 was downregulated and acted as a tumor suppressor in plenty of tumors. The purpose of this study was to explore how miR-486 worked in osteosarcoma on cell invasion and EMT.
