Defining the active sites and further optimizing their activity are of great significance for enhancing the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) performances, especially for inexpensive Ni-based catalysts doped with metals and nonmetal elements. This work reports the role of the incorporated molybdenum and sulfur in enhancing the HER activity of nickel. The prepared molybdenum and sulfur coincorporated Ni (NMS) electrocatalysts exhibit excellent HER performance, with an overpotential and Tafel slope of 77.

To address this issue, a reusable optical-management sticker tailored for flexible substrates has been proposed in this work. The sticker incorporates a light-shifting material that converts near-ultraviolet light into visible light, enabling photoelectric conversion of near-ultraviolet light.

Herein, we introduced a reversible chemical cross-linking strategy to engineer protein antigens, which can be tracelessly removed upon antigen-presenting cell (APC) uptake and cellular reduction. The chemically cross-linked antigen proteins presented significantly enhanced uptake and epitope presentation by APC.

Purpose: To sort out the ideas and ways for nursing managers to identify problems in on-site supervision of nursing quality and to provide ideas and directions for being able to identify problems, identifying problems quickly, and identifying high-quality problems in the supervision.
Methods: A descriptive qualitative study was used to conduct face-to-face semi-structured interviews with 14 nursing managers from Bethune Hospital in Shanxi, China.
Significance: Extending the photoacoustic microscopy (PAM) into the mid-infrared (MIR) molecular fingerprint region constitutes a promising route toward label-free imaging of biological molecular structures. Realizing this objective requires a high-energy nanosecond MIR laser source. However, existing MIR laser technologies are limited to either low pulse energy or free-space structure that is sensitive to environmental conditions.

However, existing methods for developing such light sources suffer from limited flexibility and very low pulse energy, particularly in the mid-infrared domain. Here, we introduce a concept that is based on the combination of an appropriate design of near-infrared fiber laser pump and cascaded configuration of gas-filled anti-resonant hollow-core fiber technology.

Contrarily, pathogens can utilize autophagy to enhance their own replication. Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) NSP6 can interact with ATPase proton pump component to inhibit lysosomal acidification, which was implicated in the autophagy process.

Background: Since the end of 2019, China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) department has decided to start the construction of regional medical centers in Shanxi, reducing cross-provincial and cross-regional medical care. In order to improve the overall standard of care in a hospital in a short period of time, health care leadership decision makers may adopt various effective leadership management practices to achieve the set goals and have high work pressure at the same time.
Gas quenching and vacuum quenching process are widely applied to accelerate solvent volatilization to induce nucleation of perovskites in blade-coating method. In this work, we found these two pre-crystallization processes lead to different order of crystallization dynamics within the perovskite thin film, resulting in the differences of additive distribution. We then tailor-designed an additive molecule named 1,3-bis(4-methoxyphenyl)thiourea to obtain films with fewer defects and holes at the buried interface, and prepared perovskite solar cells with a certified efficiency of 23.

The composition and characteristics of emergency patients in the Affiliated Brain Hospital, Guangzhou Medical University during 2020-2022 were retrospectively analyzed to provide data support for the optimization of the process of psychiatric emergency and the elastic allocation of emergency medical staff. This study collected data from patients who sought medical attention at the emergency department of the Affiliated Brain Hospital, Guangzhou Medical University between January 1, 2020, and December 31, 2022. The fundamental information of these patients was statistically analyzed using descriptive analytic methods.

This study delves into the experiences of nurse managers in China, aiming to uncover their cognition and provide reference for relevant managers.
Methods: A descriptive phenomenological approach was used to gain insight into the inner reality of nurse leaders' experiences and management perceptions of experiencing patient safety incidents.
The emergence of novel Omicron subvariants has raised concerns regarding the efficacy of immunity induced by prior Omicron subvariants breakthrough infection (BTI) or reinfection against current circulating Omicron subvariants. Here, we prospectively investigated the durability of antibody and T cell responses in individuals post Omicron BA.2.

Here, we engineered a second-generation 4-1BB-CD3ζ-based CAR construct incorporating humanized CD19 single-chain variable fragments (scFvs) and BAFFR single-variable domains on heavy chains (VHHs), also known as nanobodies. The resultant CAR-T cells, with different constructs, were functionally compared both in vitro and in vivo.

Nevertheless, the synthesis of ASSICEs with concomitant mechanical robustness, superior ionic conductivity, and cost-effective recyclability poses a formidable challenge, primarily attributed to the inherent contradiction between mechanical strength and ionic conductivity. Herein, we present a collaborative design of high-entropy topological network and multivalent ion-dipole interaction for ASSICEs, and successfully mitigate the contradiction between mechanical robustness and ionic conductivity.

However, tEVs exhibit phenotype heterogeneity and low abundance, posing a significant challenge for multiplex detection with a high sensitivity. Herein, we developed a DNA gate-based exponential amplification CRISPR-Cas (DGEAC) system for accurate and ultrasensitive detection of tEVs, which can greatly improve the accuracy of breast cancer (BC) diagnosis.

Purpose: Elucidation of the cardio-oncologic knowledge among the oncology nurses of tertiary hospitals in Shanxi Province to provide better insights and directions for management by nursing managers.
Background: China's National Health and Wellness Commission issued the Action Plan for Further Improving Nursing Services in June 2023, which requires nurses to provide patients with physical and mental holistic nursing services, such as medical care, condition observation, assistance with treatment, and health guidance. Most oncology patients are treated with chemotherapy, but the modality can cause greater harm to patients, especially cardiotoxicity.
It is a great challenge to effectively treat triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) due to lack of therapeutic targets and drug resistance of systemic chemotherapy. Rational design of nanomedicine with good hemocompatibility is urgently desirable for combination therapy of TNBC. Herein, an erythrocyte membrane-camouflaged fluorescent covalent organic framework (COF) loaded with an NO donor (hydroxyurea, Hu), glucose oxidase (GOx) and cytosine-phosphate-guanine oligonucleotides (CPG) (COF@HGC) was developed for imaging-guided starving/nitric oxide (NO)/immunization synergistic treatment of TNBC.
