Purpose: Disability and ableism exist within a societal context that does not ignore the many facets of a person's identity, however often our disability research does not recognize how experiences vary based on the intersecting identities individuals hold. This article utilizes Intersectionality, Dis/ability Critical Race Studies (DisCrit), and Disability Justice to identify ways for rehabilitation researchers to adapt their research practices for maximum inclusivity and representation.

Materials And Methods: Using these three frameworks, we have developed a call to action including recommendations for rehabilitation researchers to consider as they design and implement research projects.

Gold-metallic nanofibrils were prepared from three different iso-apoferritin (APO) proteins with different Light/Heavy (L/H) subunit ratios (from 0% up to 100% L-subunits). We show that APO protein fibrils have the ability to nucleate and grow gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) simultaneously assembled on opposite strands of the fibrils, forming hybrid inorganic-organic metallic nanowires. The AuNPs are arranged following the pitch of the helical APO protein fiber.

Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 caused the global COVID-19 pandemic and public health crisis, and it led to the rapid development of COVID-19 vaccines, which can cause rare and typically mild hypersensitivity reactions (HRs). Delayed HRs to COVID-19 vaccines have been reported, and the excipients polyethylene glycol (PEG)2000 and polysorbate 80 (P80) are the suspected culprits. A seemingly ubiquitous irrational number often appearing in nature and in man-made things like structures, paintings, and physical systems, is the golden number. Here, we show that this astonishing number appears in the periodic solutions of an underactuated mass-spring oscillator driven by a nonlinear self-excitation. Specifically, by using the two-time scale perturbation method, it is analytically demonstrated that the golden number appears in the ratio of amplitudes, as well as in the oscillation frequency of the periodic solution, which is referred to as golden solution and, by applying the Poincaré method, it is demonstrated that this solution is asymptotically stable.

To compare the obstetric results achieved after hysteroscopic office metroplasty (HOME-DU) in infertile and recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL) patients diagnosed with dysmorphic uterus, women hysteroscopically diagnosed with dysmorphic uterus who underwent uterine-enlargement metroplasty were prospectively enrolled from June 2016 until April 2020. Patients were followed up and obstetric outcomes were recorded (pregnancy and live birth rate). Sixty-three women (30 infertile; 33 RPL) were enrolled, of which 48 became pregnant post-HOME-DU, with an overall pregnancy rate of 76.

Fanconi anemia (FA) is caused by biallelic mutations in FA genes. Monoallelic mutations in five of these genes ( and ) increase the susceptibility to breast/ovarian cancer and are used in clinical diagnostics as bona-fide hereditary cancer genes. Turnip mosaic virus (TuMV), a potyvirus, is a flexible filamentous plant virus that displays a helical arrangement of coat protein copies (CPs) bound to the ssRNA genome. TuMV is a bona fide representative of the Potyvirus genus, one of most abundant groups of plant viruses, which displays a very wide host range. We have studied by cryoEM the structure of TuMV virions and its viral-like particles (VLPs) to explore the role of the interactions between proteins and RNA in the assembly of the virions.

A new G-(HL)-Pd heterogeneous catalyst has been prepared via a self-assembly process consisting in the spontaneous adsorption, in water at room temperature, of a macrocyclic HL ligand on graphene (G) (G + HL = G-(HL)), followed by decoration of the macrocycle with Pd ions (G-(HL) + Pd = G-(HL)-Pd) under the same mild conditions. This supramolecular approach is a sustainable (green) procedure that preserves the special characteristics of graphene and furnishes an efficient catalyst for the Cu-free Sonogashira cross coupling reaction between iodobenzene and phenylacetylene. Indeed, G-(HL)-Pd shows an excellent conversion (90%) of reactants into diphenylacetylene under mild conditions (50 °C, water, aerobic atmosphere, 14 h).
