The genome sequence of UADEC20 is presented, which is a strain isolated from agricultural fields in northeast Mexico. The genome was assembled into 13 scaffolds, constituting a total chromosome size of 4.2 Mbp, with two of the scaffolds representing closed plasmids.

There are only a few reports in Mexico about the strains found in various foods. The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence of , serogroups, virulence genes, and antimicrobial resistance in different foods from Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico.

The aim of this work was to conduct a comparative analysis of secondary metabolites of different roots and leaf extracts of from two zones in Mexico using ultraperformance liquid chromatography (UPLC) and gas chromatography (GC) coupled with mass spectrometry (MS). Twelve secondary metabolites from roots were identified in the leaves.

Introduction: Fetal and postnatal hypertrophy develop in response to such different exposures or illnesses the mother suffers during gestation as anti-infectious and physical agents, obesity, hypertension, diabetes, and even advanced maternal age. This gives rise to high comorbidities in the newborn; therefore, looking for alternatives that contribute to cardiac homeostasis is quite necessary to inhibit the overgrowth of myocytes. Boron-derivative compounds could play a key role in exerting a repairing effect on chronic cardiac damage induced during gestation.

Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) may be a viable solution to this problem. The green synthesis of AgNPs is considered a green, ecological and low-priced process that provides small and biocompatible nanostructures with antimicrobial activity with a potential application in medicine.

Case: We present a case in Colombia, of community-acquired neonatal infection of SARS-CoV-2, with suggestive symptoms, such as fever, and showing neurological findings, such as drowsiness, poor suction and mild hypotonia for a short time.
Discussion: The clinical manifestations of SARS-COV-2 in neonates are beginning to be described in detail.
Inulin has been used as a fat substitute in baked goods due to its gelling properties and functionality. However, it usually has been done in low substitution levels. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect in rheological parameters in cassava dough caused by high substitution levels of fats by inulin.

An in silico analysis of the interaction between the complex-ligands of nine acetylcholinesterase (AChE) structures of Lepidopteran organisms and 43 organophosphorus (OPs) pesticides with previous resistance reports was carried out. To predict the potential resistance by structural modifications in Lepidoptera insects, due to proposed point mutations in AChE, a broad analysis was performed using computational tools, such as homology modeling and molecular docking. Two relevant findings were revealed: (1) Docking results give a configuration of the most probable spatial orientation of two interacting molecules (AChE enzyme and OP pesticide) and (2) a predicted Δ.

Their incorporation to diverse food products has been done to develop potential functional foods. In the case of bakery products, their incorporation has been seen to improve several technological parameters such as volume, specific volume, texture along with sensorial parameters such as flavor and aroma.

Objective: To report a case of spontaneous bile duct perforation in a newborn due to its serious complications if an early and timely diagnosis is not performed.
Frankia strains are nitrogen-fixing soil actinobacteria that can form root symbioses with actinorhizal plants. Phylogenetically, symbiotic frankiae can be divided into three clusters, and this division also corresponds to host specificity groups. The strains of cluster II which form symbioses with actinorhizal Rosales and Cucurbitales, thus displaying a broad host range, show suprisingly low genetic diversity and to date can not be cultured.

The orthogonal array employed was L18 (2(1) × 3(5)) considering six important factors (pH and temperature, also phosphate, nitrogen, magnesium, and carbon sources) for tannase biosynthesis. The experimental results obtained from 18 trials were processed using the software Statistical version 7.

An analysis of the root surrounding soil from different agricultural plants led to the isolation of Burkholderia and Cupriavidus species but no Ralstonia strains. Most Cupriavidus species were unknown and grouped into two clusters according to ARDRA profiles.

Aspergillus niger GH1 previously isolated and identified by our group as a wild tannase producer was grown under solid-state (SSC) and submerged culture (SmC) conditions to select the enzyme production system. For tannase purification, extracellular tannase was produced under SSC using polyurethane foam as the inert support. Tannase was purified to apparent homogeneity by ultrafiltration, anion-exchange chromatography, and gel filtration that led to a purified enzyme with a specific activity of 238.
