Background: Droperidol is a first-generation antipsychotic medication that has been used for various indications in the emergency department (ED); however, its use has been controversial due to reports of QT prolongation and the risk of torsades de pointes (TdP). The aim of the study is to evaluate the safety of droperidol administration in the ED.
Methods: This was a retrospective study, conducted at an academic level I trauma center.

We highlight how recent advances in large language models (LLMs) present new opportunities for progress, as well as new risks, in synthetic health data generation (SHDG).
Materials And Methods: We synthesized systematic scoping reviews in the SHDG domain, recent LLM methods for SHDG, and papers investigating the capabilities and limits of LLMs.

This review critically evaluates current knowledge about the mechanisms of action and biological effects of endocannabinoids and phytocannabinoids on GIT functions and the potential therapeutic applications of these compounds. The results of ex vivo and in vivo preclinical data indicate that cannabinoids can both inhibit and stimulate gut peristalsis, depending on various factors.
