We explored temporal variations in disease burden of ambient particulate matter 2.5 μm or less in diameter (PM) and ozone in Italy using estimates from the Global Burden of Disease Study 2019. We compared temporal changes and percent variations (95% Uncertainty Intervals [95% UI]) in rates of disability adjusted life years (DALYs), years of life lost, years lived with disability and mortality from 1990 to 2019, and variations in pollutant-attributable burden with those in the overall burden of each PM- and ozone-related disease.

To evaluate the analytical agreement between results obtained from the indirect immunofluorescence methods and from the multiplexed line-blot assay and EliA-M2, to analyze the diagnostic accuracy in a cohort of primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC) patients and in control patients of two different types of tests for anti-M2 and assess whether, with the advent of a quantitative test, the possibility exists to correlate disease activity with the value of AMA. Serum analysis of 67 patients with fluorescence patterns detected on Hep-2 cells suggestive of PBC-related antibodies and three groups of patients (15 PBC, 16 PBC suspect and 48 disease controls) was carried out. All samples were tested by both a qualitative test multiplexed line-blot Autoimmune Liver Disease Profile Euroline and by a quantitative test EliA-M2 IgG.

The culture of early embryos in the surrogate xeno-oviduct was first developed in the early 1950s to allow transport of embryos at long distances. Later, it was applied to the study of culture requirements of the early embryo especially that of bovine origin. Current peaks have been observed and measured in electrolytic ionic current of L-glutamic acid aqueous solutions at room temperature, in static magnetic fields of 20, 40, and 60 muT flux densities, with a superimposed extremely low-frequency, (1/10) Hz, alternating magnetic field flux density of 40 nT. The distributions of the peaks have mean values centered at the cyclotron resonance frequency of the singly charged L-glutamic acid ion molecular mass in the corresponding static field. Amplitudes and widths of the peaks are compared and analyzed to extract their correlation.

A current peak has been observed and measured in ionic electrolytic current of a glutamic acid aqueous solution, placed in a static magnetic field of flux density of 40 microT, with a superimposed low-frequency alternating magnetic field of flux density of 40 nT. The peak occurs at the frequency of the cyclotronic resonance of the molecular mass of a single charged glutamic acid ion, placed in a magnetic flux density equal to that of the static field. The amplitude of the current peak is about 30% of the background electrolytic current.
