COVID-19 skin manifestations are multifaceted, ranging from urticaria, morbilliform or papulovesicular rash, livedoid purpuric lesions, and to pseudochilblains (also called COVID toes). Recent insights into the mechanism of these manifestations have highlighted that morbilliform, papulovesicular, and livedoid/purpuric rashes are related to virus-induced endothelial cell damage and linked to moderate-to-severe disease, whereas pseudochilblains are related to an exaggerated IFN-1 production by plasmacytoid dendritic cells in protected individuals. In this paper, we will review the clinical and physiopathological features of cutaneous COVID-19 manifestations in relation to the direct viral cytopathic effects and dysregulated IFN-1 responses.

Objective: This cost-utility analysis evaluates the economic and health-related impacts of clinic-based deroofing vs excision for hidradenitis suppurativa, comparing direct medical costs and quality-adjusted life-years (QALYs).
Importance: Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is associated with morbidity in persons of reproductive age, but the effect on maternal and offspring outcomes is understudied.
Objective: To determine the association of HS with pregnancy outcomes and maternal and child morbidity in the long term.
Design, Setting, And Participants: This population-based longitudinal cohort study with up to 16 years of follow-up took place between 2006 and 2022 in Quebec, Canada.
Imaging mass cytometry is a technology that enables comprehensive analysis of cellular phenotypes at the tissue level. We performed a multiparameter characterization of structural and immune cell populations in psoriatic skin and synovial tissue samples aimed at characterizing immune cell differences in patients with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. A panel of 33 antibodies was used to stain selected immune and structural cell populations.

Aggression can be assessed both explicitly and implicitly, taking into account the dual processing model. The purpose of the research was to examine explicit and indirect, latency-based measure of aggression in competitive athletes practicing striking combat sports, according to gender and sports performance.

This study represents our first ten years using AVT to treat AIS.
Methods: In this retrospective review we analyzed our first 74 AIS patients treated with AVT 2010-2020.
Pyoderma gangrenosum (PG) is a rare inflammatory condition with an immense disease burden that remains understudied. With limited approved treatments and low-quality clinical evidence, PG continues to have poor patient outcomes. Unfortunately, improvement in PG treatments and patient care is based on additional research endeavors that can only be developed from existing high-quality data.

We previously reported that IMID patients diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease, psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, or rheumatoid arthritis exhibited greater waning of Ab and T cell responses than healthy control subjects after SARS-CoV-2 vaccine dose 2. Fewer data are available on the effects of third and fourth doses.
