Purpose: to verify if hesitations would occur, preferably, in strong or weak positions of four of the prosodic constituents: phonological utterance, intonational phrase, phonological phrase and clitic group.
Methods: the data were extracted from a bank composed of 147 interview situations recorded with children aged 5-6 years. Was used the principle of relative prominence for the analysis of prosodic constituents.
Introduction: Assuming that errors are actually hits attempts, and may mark the child's conflicts with the orthographic system, we investigated the orthographic record of two phonemes that refer to the class of liquids: /l/ and /ɾ/.
Objective: (1) to compare the orthographic accuracy, in the complex onset and coda syllable positions, of the phonemes spelling /l/ and /ɾ/; (2) to verify, among the errors, their most frequent typesr.
Method: We analyzed 53 textual productions of children of the 1st year of the cycle I of the elementary school of a public school in a city of the state of São Paulo.
Purpose: (1) To verify the existence (or not) of hesitation marks in the beginning of utterances in children's discourse; and (2) to determine to what extent the presence/absence of these marks could be explained by retrievable facts in the production conditions of their discourses.
Methods: Interview situations with four children aged 5-6 years attending Kindergarten level II in a public preschool at the time of the data collection were analyzed. The interviews were recorded on audio and video, inside a soundproof booth, with high fidelity equipment.
