Major Lower Limb Amputations: Recognizing Pitfalls.

Major lower extremity amputations have been an area of much concern in the Caribbean population. Hence, the purpose of this research was to investigate the current trends in major lower-extremity amputations. Data regarding all major lower-extremity amputations performed at a tertiary care institution in Trinidad and Tobago, from January 2010 to December 2016 were reviewed.
