The present work is a study with the objective of learning the conceptions of the patient bearer of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) concerning to fatigue symptoms and their repercussions in his/her daily life as well as the actions performed in order to minimize the fatigue. It is a descriptive and exploratory study of qualitative character carried out with hospitalized patients. Eight (8) adult subjects with diagnosis of AML were interviewed.
