BACKGROUND Signet ring cell (SRC) gastric adenocarcinoma is an aggressive histotype associated with poor prognosis, especially in advanced gastric cancer. A 79-year-old man, with history of recent laparoscopic cholecystectomy, came to our attention for persistent hiccup, dysphonia, and dysphagia.
