Background: Pneumatosis intestinalis (PI) is a rare radiological finding that may be associated with various diseases. In the neonatal period, it is considered pathognomonic for necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC). Cow's milk protein allergy (CMA) is the main cause of allergy especially in term infants appearing following breastfeeding or consumption of milk-based formulas.

Methods: The TASMAN study aimed to assess the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of oncologists and palliative care providers globally regarding MC use in cancer care. A survey of healthcare providers from diverse regions and income levels was conducted.
Phase change material (PCM) stores latent heat energy, and poly(ethylene glycol) (Mw: 4000) (PEG 4000) is also a solid-liquid PCM. PEG and poly(lactic acid) (PLA) polymers are biodegradable. Essential oils are known as plant extracts with antimicrobial properties.

Knowing the course of the affected or unaffected coronary arteries in the patients under follow-up is important in terms of defining the long-term prognosis of the disease and determining the follow-up plan. This is a multicenter and retrospective study.

Background: Ocular complications are known to appear in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Among these, posterior segment complications can lead to substantial morbidity. The aim of the study is to evaluate the retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL), ganglion cell-inner plexiform layer (GCIPL), and macula thickness measurement in patients with IBD.

This study investigates the empirical link between the social and financial performance of the Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) by utilizing the PVAR-Granger causality model and a fixed-effects panel data model with a rich dataset comprising 234 ESG-rated REITs across five developed economies from 2003 to 2019. The results suggest that investors pay attention to individual E/S/G metrics and price each component of ESG investing differently, with E-investing and S-investing practices being the significant financial performance factors of REITs. This study is the first attempt to test the social impact and risk mitigation hypotheses of the stakeholder theory of the corporation and the neoclassic trade-off argument to explore the association between corporate social responsibility and the market valuation of REITs.

The evidence suggests that stock markets generally follow a synchronized movement before and the stages of the pandemic shocks. We find while mean reversion significantly declines, the degree of persistence and dependence has been increased in the majority of the stock market indices in whole sample analysis covering the period of August 02, 2019 and July 09, 2020.

Additionally, we aimed to evaluate the diagnostic compatibility of the General Movement Optimality Score (GMOS), the Motor Optimality Score (MOS), and AIMS for detecting CP and NDD.
Method: Seventy-five preterm infants with gestational age (GA) 24-37 weeks were enrolled.
Background And Purpose: Neurological symptoms and complications associated with coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) are well known. It was aimed to evaluate the brainstem and trigeminal/facial nerves and the pathways between these structures in COVID-19 using the blink reflex test.
Methods: Thirty patients with post COVID-19 (16 males, 14 females) and 30 healthy individuals (17 males, 13 females) were included in this prospective study.
Carbon dots (CDs) are carbon-based fluorescent nanomaterials that are of interest in different research areas due to their low cost production and low toxicity. Considering their unique photophysical properties, hydrophobic/amphiphilic CDs are powerful alternatives to metal-based quantum dots in LED and photovoltaic cell designs. On the other hand, CDs possess a considerably high amount of surface defects that give rise to two significant drawbacks: (1) causing decrease in quantum yield (QY), a crucial drawback that limits their utilization in LEDs, and (2) affecting the efficiency of charge transfer, a significant factor that limits the use of CDs in photovoltaic cells.

This is the first study which STAR family models and nonlinear impulse response functions based on the local projections employed alternatively. We present three main pieces of evidence: (1) housing prices, stock prices, interest rates, and income exposures of consumption show time-varying and asymmetric behaviours across all countries, (2) housing wealth effects show stronger persistency and are generally larger than financial wealth effects in most of the countries, and (3) time-varying housing and financial wealth effects are high (low) during expansionary (recessionary) periods across all countries.

Therefore, discovery of new ASDs and new therapy options are crucial to improve the quality of life. Herein, we report a 3-year-old child with multi-drug resistant epilepsy caused by perinatal asphyxia whose seizures were reduced by 90% after the introduction of ketogenic diet, vagal nerve stimulation (VNS) AspireSR (SR-seizure response) and oral cannabidiol.

We aimed to evaluate the relationship between abdominal subcutaneous fat thickness (ASFT) and hepatic steatosis, serum lipid and transaminase levels in obese children.
Population And Methods: A retrospective study was conducted with children (aged 4-18 years) who presented to outpatient clinic due to obesity.
Introduction Colonic wall thickening (CWT) is frequently observed incidentally via abdominal computerized tomography (aCT). Although the general approach to evaluating incidental CWT is a colonoscopic examination, there is a lack of definitive recommendation guidelines. Thus, we aimed to determine neoplasia rates and identify the factors predictive of neoplasia via colonoscopic examinations of patients with CWT incidentally diagnosed via aCT.

Purpose: The postnatal growth and retinopathy of prematurity (G-ROP) study has proposed a new model for retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) prediction based on gestational age, birth weight and postnatal weight gain. The purpose of the current study is to assess the efficacy of the G-ROP model for predicting ROP among a Turkish cohort of premature infants.
Methods: Records of infants who underwent ROP screening examinations between 2012 and 2019 were reviewed retrospectively.
Purpose: To determine macular thickness in 3- to 6-year-old children who were born preterm compared with age-matched controls born at term.
Methods: Children 36-72 months of age born ≤34 weeks and age-matched control children born at term were included in this prospective case-control study. Macular thickness measurements obtained using spectral domain optical coherence tomography were compared between groups and correlations of macular thickness were investigated in the preterm group.
Sandpaper wastes were used as adsorbent after pyrolysis at 500 °C and calcination at 800 °C for the removal of brilliant green and malachite green cationic dye from an aqueous solution. The effects of the pH, the adsorbent dose, the contact time, and the initial dye concentration on the removal efficiencies were investigated. The isotherm studies were conducted by using the Langmuir, Freundlich, and Dubinin-Radushkevich models, and thermodynamic studies were also performed.
