The COVID-19 pandemic led to significant shifts in societal norms and individual behaviors, including changes in physical activity levels. This study examines the relationship between socioeconomic and sociodemographic factors and changes in physical activity levels during the pandemic compared to pre-pandemic levels among adult Arkansans. Survey data were collected from 1,205 adult Arkansans in July and August 2020, capturing socioeconomic and sociodemographic characteristics and information on physical activity changes since the onset of the pandemic.

Introduction: Psychotropic medication (PM) use in behavioral-variant frontotemporal dementia (bvFTD) is higher than in other dementias. However, no information exists on whether PM use differs between sporadic and genetic bvFTD.

Methods: We analyzed data from sporadic and genetic bvFTD participants with PM prescriptions in the Advancing Research and Treatment in Frontotemporal Lobar Degeneration/Longitudinal Evaluation of Familial Frontotemporal Dementia Subjects study.

Background: Community health centers (CHCs) are safety-net health care facilities in the United States that provide care for a substantial number of low-income, non-English speaking adults with type 2 diabetes (T2D). Whereas patient portals have been shown to be associated with significant improvements in diabetes self-management and outcomes, they remain underused in CHCs. In addition, little is known about the specific barriers to and facilitators of patient portal use in CHCs and strategies to address the barriers.

Background: The purpose of this study was to assess the effects of the Bienestar/NEEMA Coordinated School Health Program (BN CSHP) on cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) of preschool children.

Methods: A cluster randomized trial was conducted of preschools in South Texas. Of 48 eligible schools, 28 were randomly assigned (14 intervention, 14 control).

We described the profile and outcome of Filipino patients with inflammatory rheumatic diseases (IRDs) who developed COVID-19 (IRD-C19) during the onset of the pandemic, prior to vaccinations and variants. We obtained de-identified data of Filipino patients with IRD-C19 from the Global Rheumatology Alliance registry from March 2020 to August 2021. Descriptive statistics and multivariate analyses were applied.

Clinical management of HIV drug resistance.
