Introduction: Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) is a critical approach in pediatric nursing, addressing the unique challenges and high trauma susceptibility in children. Including TIC in nursing education aims to equip students with the necessary skills for empathetic and efficient care, enhancing patient outcomes and professional competence. This study investigates the perspectives of undergraduate pediatric nursing students on TIC.

The methods described by Centre for Reviews and Dissemination were used to guide this review.

The influence of chronic pain on the daily lives of underprivileged South Africans.

Chronic pain is a major public health problem that changes lives and has devastating consequences for the person experiencing the pain, the family, and society. Living with chronic pain is not easy, especially in South Africa where the public health care system, serving 80% of the population, fails people suffering from chronic pain. The purpose of the study was to explore how experiencing chronic pain influenced the daily lives of underprivileged patients receiving nursing care at the palliative care clinic serving a resource-poor community in Tshwane, South Africa.

Background: Prostate cancer is a global health problem strongly linked to the Western lifestyle and its health risks. South Africa, like many African countries, has no population-based screening for this disease.
