Telomeric repeat-binding factor 2 (TERF2)-interacting protein (TERF2IP), a member of the shelterin complex at the telomere, regulates the senescence-associated secretory phenotype (SASP), in which EC activation and senescence are engendered simultaneously by p90RSK-induced phosphorylation of TERF2IP S205 and subsequent nuclear export of the TERF2IP-TERF2 complex. We sought to evaluate the association of asymmetric dimethylarginine (ADMA)-a marker of nitric oxide-mediated vascular dysfunction-with epicardial coronary vasomotor dysfunction in this select population.
Methods: Invasive testing for epicardial vasomotor dysfunction was performed using intracoronary acetylcholine in the left anterior descending coronary artery.
Background: We found that cell-autonomous innate immune signaling causes global changes in the expression of epigenetic modifiers to facilitate nuclear reprogramming to pluripotency. A role of -nitrosylation by inducible nitric oxide (NO) synthase, an important effector of innate immunity, has been previously described in the transdifferentiation of fibroblasts to endothelial cells. Accordingly, we hypothesized that -nitrosylation might also have a role in nuclear reprogramming to pluripotency.

Recent Findings: We provide an overview of a cerebrovascular anatomical variation and detail a patient presenting with cerebral infarction secondary to occlusion of their anomalous vessel who underwent successful endovascular clot retrieval with excellent functional outcome. We also include technical descriptions.
Objective: In individuals with knee osteoarthritis (OA), self-reported physical function is poorer in African Americans than in whites, but whether this difference holds true for objective assessments is unclear. The purpose of this study was to examine racial differences in performance-based physical function as well as potential underlying factors contributing to these racial differences.
Methods: Participants with knee OA from a randomized controlled trial completed the 2-minute step test (2MST), timed-up-and-go (TUG), and 30-second chair stand (30s-CST) at baseline.
