Measurements of microtubule dynamics and spindle ultrastructure can provide insight into the behaviors of microtubules, helping elucidate the mechanism of chromosome segregation. We report our experience and compare outcomes of initially resectable pancreatic cancer (IRPC) vs BRPC receiving NT across two eras of chemotherapy regimens.
Methods: Data were collected retrospectively on pancreaticoduodenectomy patients between January 2008 and October 2015.
Proper kinetochore-microtubule attachments, mediated by the NDC80 complex, are required for error-free chromosome segregation. Erroneous attachments are corrected by the tension dependence of kinetochore-microtubule interactions. Here, we present a method, based on fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy and Förster resonance energy transfer, to quantitatively measure the fraction of NDC80 complexes bound to microtubules at individual kinetochores in living human cells.

From the kinetic data, the formation of monocarbamic acid (DMEDACOOH) from the reaction of DMEDA with CO(aq) is the dominant reaction at high pH > 9.
