[A model for epidemiological study in general practice: mortality. Study of cohort in Pavia].

For defining the health state of the population and demonstrating that computed general practice can be a preferential observation point for epidemiological study, we analyzed, as general practitioners, database of a dynamic cohort of 1501 subjects (m:724, f:777) living in Pavia and monitored from 1/1/1992 to 12/31/2001. In this paper we present mortality data compared to Italy in 1994. During the period, 209 deaths occurred (m:107, f:102).
