Bone marrow edema (BME) is a descriptive term used to describe high-signal intensity changes detected on magnetic resonance fluid-sensitive sequences that could be attributed to a number of underlying pathologies. Regardless of the cause, physiologic remodeling of the subchondral bone can be limited because of ongoing joint forces, increased focalization of stress, and reduced healing capacity of the subchondral bone. BME is a known prognostic factor associated with pain, dysfunction, and progressive cartilage damage.

Methods: We performed a review of prospectively collected data from patients who underwent treatment for bone marrow lesions (BMLs) of the knee using BMAC and iDBM (IntraOsseous BioPlasty; Arthrex, Naples, FL) between May 2017 and December 2018. Inclusion criteria included patients aged 18 to 65 years with the presence of BME on T2-weighted magnetic resonance imaging in the subchondral weightbearing region of the tibia or femoral condyle, with pain corresponding to the same compartment.
Importance: Traumatic anterior shoulder instability remains common for the adolescent athletes.
Aim Or Objective: To perform a systematic review on the outcomes and return to sport (RTS) following Bankart repair in adolescent athletes.
Evidence Review: A systematic review using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis guidelines was conducted of studies reporting outcomes following open and/or arthroscopic Bankart repair using modern suture anchors following traumatic anterior shoulder dislocations in adolescent patients (ages 10-19 years).
Purpose: To conduct a systematic review of the literature to assess the variability of the reporting of outcome measures after arthroscopic Bankart repair for traumatic anterior shoulder instability in the adolescent population.
Methods: A systematic review was conducted investigating all studies reporting outcomes after arthroscopic Bankart repair in the adolescent population. Four databases (Medline, EMBASE, Ovid, and Google Scholar) were screened for clinical studies involving the arthroscopic management of anterior shoulder instability in adolescents.

Snapping scapula syndrome at the superomedial corner of the scapula can lead to significant shoulder dysfunction. Bursectomy with or without partial scapulectomy is currently the most beneficial primary method of treatment in patients in whom nonoperative therapy fails. Arthroscopic access to the scapulothoracic space is simple and reproducible with the technique described in this report.
