[The study on the preparation and spectroscopic properties of hydroxypropyl-beta-cyclodextrin/glipizide inclusion complex].

The interaction of glipizide and hydroxypropyl-pcyclodextrin was investigated in the present paper. The stability constant and molar ratio of glipizide and hydroxypropyl-beta-cyclodextrin was calculated from the phase soluility diagram. The solid state inclusion complex of hydroxypropyl-beta-cyclodextrin/glipizide prepared by neutralization method was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and powder X-ray diffraction (XRD).
