Introduction: Night-shift workers often face various health issues stemming from circadian rhythm shift and the consequent poor sleep quality. We aimed to study nurses working night shifts, evaluate the electroencephalogram (EEG) pattern of daytime sleep, and explore possible pattern changes due to ambient light exposure (30 lux) compared to dim conditions (<5 lux) during daytime sleep.
Moethods: The study involved 31 participants who worked night shifts and 24 healthy adults who had never worked night shifts.
In this paper, the effects of ultrasonic wave on the removal of inorganic scaling and plugging in cores and the influence of the key wave field parameters, process parameters and core physical parameters on the plugging removal efficiency are systematically studied. The main dynamic mechanism of ultrasonic plugging removal is also systematically analyzed. Results show that the transducer frequency, transducer power, ultrasonic treatment time and initial permeability of core have great influence on the effect of ultrasonic scale removal.

Methods: The study was conducted in a self-controlled, two-period experiment with a randomized, open-labeled design, using 12 healthy volunteers and a wash out period of 1 week between the administration of a single oral dose of 50 mg talinolol and the concomitant administration of curcumin (300 mg day(-1) for 6 days) and a single oral dose of 50 mg talinolol on the seventh day. Concentrations of talinolol were measured in plasma by high-performance liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization mass spectrometry.
