Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of Complex Decongestive Therapy (CDT) in managing limb swelling, alleviating pain, and promoting functional recovery in patients following anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR).
Method: This was a randomized controlled trial (RCT) involving 160 patients who underwent ACLR at a tertiary hospital in Shenzhen between August 2021 and April 2023. The study compared the outcomes of conventional nursing care with complex decongestive therapy (CDT).
Cellulose composites have exceptional qualities, particularly in removing heavy metal ions. Nevertheless, these materials' poor mechanical qualities and the restricted exposure of surface-active sites reduce the effectiveness of their removal. The removal efficiency of adsorbent materials largely depends on their macroscopic structural characteristics.

Traditional gelatin sponges, widely used as clinical fillers, provide favorable biocompatibility and hemostatic support but suffer from suboptimal hemostatic efficiency, lack of antimicrobial properties, and insufficient anticoagulant factors, which increase the risk of dry socket. Addressing these limitations, a novel tannic acid cross-linked gelatin sponge has been developed using directional lyophilization.

D50 and powder orientation index (OI) value of the prepared secondary particles of artificial graphite anode materials were employed as evaluation index, and the results of the orthogonal experiments were subjected to polarity analysis, analysis of variance (ANOVA), and multiple linear regression analysis. It is demonstrated that the addition ratio of the asphalt exerts the most pronounced influence on D50 and powder OI value of secondary granular artificial graphite anode materials, followed by the softening point.

Studies have shown that the NLRP3 inflammasome activation reversely regulated by the PGC-1α leads to microglial polarization and pyroptosis to cause damage to nerve cells and the blood-brain barrier.

Levistolide A (LA), an active component of Ligusticum chuanxiong, offers multiple therapeutic benefits, including cardiovascular and neuroprotection, antitumor and analgesic effects, as well as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antifibrotic, and proapoptotic actions. However, the underlying mechanism of LA in treating AKI has not been fully elucidated.

Methods: This study was conducted retrospectively between March 2018 and December 2019. Patients were randomly assigned to a development cohort (DC, n=179) and a validation cohort (VC, n=77).
Objective: To analyze Necrotic Area Features of subpleural pulmonary lesions (SPLs) demonstrated by contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) and investigate their value in differentiating between malignant and benign SPLs.
Methods: Patients with SPLs who underwent CEUS at our hospital from January to May 2021. The following patient information was recorded: (i) age, (ii) sex, (iii) lesion size, (iv) lesion location, (v) size of necrotic areas and (vi) necrotic area morphology, including sieve-like necrosis, necrotic area with septal enhancement, necrotic area with annular enhancement margins, and necrotic area with burr-like enhancement margins.

There are several main patterns in lung ultrasound (LUS) images, including A-lines, B-lines, consolidation and pleural effusion. LUS images of healthy lungs typically only exhibit A-lines, while other patterns may emerge or coexist in LUS images associated with different lung diseases. The accurate categorization of these primary patterns is pivotal for effective lung disease screening.

This study examines the impact of Fu's Subcutaneous Needling (FSN), a non-pharmacological technique, on muscle stiffness in the lower limbs of individuals with knee OA.
Materials And Methods: This study protocol is a pilot, single-center, randomized controlled trial.
The Chinese medicine residue (CMR) is composed of wet woody waste, including licorice and ephedra, so using hydrothermal carbonization (HTC) to recover renewable energy from the CMR is a suitable treatment method. An in-depth analysis of the physicochemical properties and structural evolution mechanism of hydrochars is helpful in fundamentally promoting the energy utilization of traditional Chinese medicine waste residue. Therefore, this study analyzed the physicochemical properties and morphological structure of hydrochar produced under varying HTC conditions using multiple testing methods.

Despite many years of effort, developing isoform-specific inhibitors has been a challenge. We describe herein the discovery of a potent, noncovalent PAD2 inhibitor, with selectivity over PAD3 and PAD4, from a DNA-encoded library.

However, the bibliometric review on the detection, research hotspot, and development trend of environmental ARGs has not been widely conducted. It is essential to provide a comprehensive overview of the last 30 years of research on environmental ARGs to clarify the changes in the research landscape and ascertain future prospects.

Chromium (Cr), a kind of heavy metal element, is enriched in hydrochar and severely restricts its effective utilization. An in-depth analysis of the migration path and mechanism of Cr in hydrochar is helpful in promoting energy utilization for CMR.

The findings aim to contribute to the early prevention of malnutrition and the development of interventions targeting the intestinal flora to treat esophageal cancer.
Methods: An 80-patient sample of hospitalized individuals with esophageal cancer was selected from the radiotherapy department of our hospital between July 2021 and July 2022 to evaluate NRS2002 scores and PG-SGA scores.
Brucellosis is among the key zoonotic infectious diseases in China, and The Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region represents a major endemic area, and it is one of the main causes of poverty in the region due to illness. In Ningxia, there is substantial research on Brucella melitensis, studies on the molecular epidemiology of Brucella abortus are notably scarce. Consequently, this study aims to undertake pathogenic isolation and molecular epidemiological research on Brucella abortus isolated from the environment in Ningxia, providing insights and evidence to advance the prevention and control measures for brucellosis in the region.

Recent investigations have highlighted the potential of nutritional interventions that target the gut-brain axis, such as probiotics and prebiotics, in forestalling the onset of AD. In this study, whole-genome sequencing was employed to identify xylan as the optimal carbon source for the tryptophan metabolism regulating probiotic ().

Thermal conductivity and elastic modulus are usually positively correlated in soft materials, such as amorphous macromolecules, which poses a challenge to discover materials that are either soft and thermally conductive or hard and thermally insulative. Here, we show anomalous correlations of thermal conductivity and elastic modulus in two-dimensional (2D) hybrid organic-inorganic perovskites (HOIP) by engineering the molecular interactions between organic cations.

CISS implies that the spin preference of chiral structures persists upon injection of pure spin currents and can act as a spin analyzer without the need for a ferromagnet. Here, we report an anomalous spin current absorption in chiral metal oxides that manifests a colossal anisotropic nonlocal Gilbert damping with a maximum-to-minimum ratio of up to 1000%.
