Are We Facing a Radical Change in the Migration Behavior of Medical Graduates from Less Developed Countries? Demographic Profile vs. Social Push Factors.

The phenomenon of migration among medical personnel from less developed countries is a large one, with negative effects on the origin country, but more worrying is graduates' propensity to migrate during or immediately after university studies. The analysis of the labor market in the health sector from the last two decades shows us greater attractiveness of employment in (more) economically developed states compared to the demand from the health sector in graduates' origin countries. This research's purpose is to identify the determinants of the propensity to study and work abroad of medical students as a defined factor for better employment, and to identify the push factors in the origin country.

Trademark potential increase and entrepreneurship rural development: A case study of Southern Transylvania, Romania.

Cultural heritage capitalization in rural areas redefines the local development model. Thus, heritage tourism has become the engine of economic activities diversification. This study aims to identify a decision-making-model substantiating algorithm in order to support the local heritage capitalization (lesser known on the international cultural consumption market), based on three types of qualitative researches, and the improved Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method.

Palatal and mandibular tori in a Romanian removable denture-wearing population.

Objective: To establish the prevalence of palatal tori (TP) and mandibular tori (TM) in a Romanian denture-wearing population in order to see how or if tori influenced the denture design or the treatment planning.

Background Data:   There are no available data regarding tori in an elderly Romanian population and its implication for treatment planning. It could be considered a local factor influencing the quality of prosthetic treatment.

Altered anatomy in a case with a buccally impacted maxillary canine tooth.

Bilateral dissections of maxilla were performed in a human adult cadaver head, male, aged 53 years. After the en block removal of the soft tissues in the oral and infraorbital regions, the antero-lateral surface of maxilla was exposed and also the vestibular aspect of the upper alveolar process. An oblique labially impacted right upper canine was evidenced, completely submucosal: its apex was tangent to the maxillary sinus floor, while the superior side of the apical part of the root was in close relation with the floor of the laterally expanded inferior nasal meatus.

Orthodontically induced root resorption correlated with morphological characteristics.

Unlabelled: Orthodontically induced root resorption is an irreversible process that can have medical, ethical and legal implications.

Aim: The objective of this research was to identify morphological risk factors, in order to prevent it.

Material And Methods: We realized a retrospective study on 50 patients and made correlation between the prevalence and gravity of radiological identified root resorption and multiple biological and anatomical features.
