Challenges and Opportunities in Using Twitter as a Pedagogical Tool in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Education.

Objectives: Even though the benefits of using Twitter for teaching and information exchange within the pathology community are primarily undisputed, a fair number of users refrain from sharing educational content on this social media platform. The survey aims to identify challenges in using Twitter as a pedagogical tool and discuss ways of converting those challenges into opportunities.

Methods: We performed a cross-sectional survey-based study involving 174 participants from the pathology community on Twitter.

Objective: We updated a systematic review to evaluate the totality of evidence available for the efficacy and safety of vaginal estrogen products for the treatment of genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM) based on published randomized controlled trials.

Methods: We searched the Cochrane Library, Ovid, PubMed, Medline, Embase, and Clinicaltrials.gov for English-language articles from database inception to June 2018.

Human vaginal pH and microbiota: an update.

A woman's vaginal pH has many implications on her health and it can be a useful tool in disease diagnosis and prevention. For that reason, the further examination of the relationship between the human vaginal pH and microbiota is imperative. In the past several decades, much has been learned about the physiological mechanisms modulating the vaginal pH, and exogenous/genetic factors that may influence it.
