Objective: The goal of this study was to develop and assess intra- and interrater reliability and validity of a clinical evaluation tool for breast cancer-related lymphedema, for use in the context of outcome evaluation in clinical trials.
Design: Blinded repeated measures observational study.
Setting: Outpatient research laboratory.
Introduction: Evidence-based screening and treatment for bacteriuria is crucial to prevent increasing antibiotic resistance. The Infectious Disease Society of America (IDSA) previously released guidelines on the management of asymptomatic bacteriuria (ASB) and uncomplicated urinary tract infections (UTIs) in women. The study's objective was to assess physicians' practices in managing women with bacteriuria relative to these guideline recommendations.

Recent breakthroughs in deep learning using automated measurement of face and head motion have made possible the first objective measurement of depression severity. While powerful, deep learning approaches lack interpretability. We developed an interpretable method of automatically measuring depression severity that uses barycentric coordinates of facial landmarks and a Lie-algebra based rotation matrix of 3D head motion.

Despite higher costs, simpler HIV testing algorithms incorporating point of care nucleic acid testing may improve outcomes and thus merit additional research and field testing.

We experimentally implement slow quenches across the quantum critical point and benchmark the dynamics and the performance of the simulator through extensive theory-experiment comparisons which show excellent agreement. The implementation of the Dicke model in fully controllable trapped ion arrays can open a path for the generation of highly entangled states useful for enhanced metrology and the observation of scrambling and quantum chaos in a many-body system.

Materials And Methods: Women who met overactive bladder criteria based on symptoms were recruited, including 183 (83.9%) from the community and 35 (16.
Nocturia is a complex condition that not only significantly affects quality of life, but may be an indicator of systemic disease. Initial assessment includes a detailed history and physical examination and completion of a frequency volume chart to help identify underlying causes, such as sleep disorders, bladder storage disorders, and polyuria. Treatment with alpha-blockers or antimuscarinic medications may help if the underlying cause is determined to be benign prostatic hyperplasia or overactive bladder, respectively.

After more than 20 years of research and investment only a few such products have reached the market. This is due to several technical and market constraints.

Action unit detection in infants relative to adults presents unique challenges. Jaw contour is less distinct, facial texture is reduced, and rapid and unusual facial movements are common. To detect facial action units in spontaneous behavior of infants, we propose a multi-label Convolutional Neural Network (CNN).

This study aims to describe the psychosocial needs of young breast cancer survivors in Mexico at 5 or more years of survivorship, identifying areas of focus for early interventions.
Methods: Breast cancer patients diagnosed at age 40 or prior with 5 or more years since diagnosis were invited to participate in one-on-one 30-60 minute semi-structured audio-recorded interviews at the Instituto Nacional de Cancerología in Mexico City.

Purpose: We sought to determine whether women with overactive bladder who required third line therapy would demonstrate greater central sensitization, indexed by temporal summation to heat pain stimuli, than those with overactive bladder.
Materials And Methods: We recruited 39 women with overactive bladder from the urology clinic who were planning to undergo interventional therapy for medication refractory overactive bladder with onabotulinumtoxinA bladder injection or sacral neuromodulation. We also recruited 55 women with overactive bladder who were newly seen at our urology clinic or who responded to advertisements for study participation.
Myoepithelioma is a rare occurrence in the trachea and respiratory tract with only 11 cases reported in the literature. We present a case report of a 10-year-old female who was found to have an anterior tracheal mass causing near total obstruction of the airway on bronchoscopy. Characteristics of the mass were consistent with syncytial myoepithelioma.

Objectives: Few contemporary studies exist regarding urodynamic (UDS) findings in patients with diabetes mellitus (DM), and data are conflicting. Our aim was to compare UDS findings in women with and without DM.
Methods: Data from female patients in a prospectively maintained UDS database (2010-2014) were reviewed.
Clinical research aimed at preventing cardiovascular disease has focused on the effect of interventions to reduce risk factors on the incidence of future morbid events. Disease progression, which likely serves as a necessary prerequisite for morbid events, has not served as a target for therapy. The Rasmussen Center at the University of Minnesota has, for the past 18 years, been performing a noninvasive cardiovascular evaluation in individuals with no history of cardiovascular disease.

The field of Automatic Facial Expression Analysis has grown rapidly in recent years. However, despite progress in new approaches as well as benchmarking efforts, most evaluations still focus on either posed expressions, near-frontal recordings, or both. This makes it hard to tell how existing expression recognition approaches perform under conditions where faces appear in a wide range of poses (or camera views), displaying ecologically valid expressions.

Despite the important role that facial expressions play in interpersonal communication and our knowledge that interpersonal behavior is influenced by social context, no currently available facial expression database includes multiple interacting participants. The Sayette Group Formation Task (GFT) database addresses the need for well-annotated video of multiple participants during unscripted interactions. The database includes 172,800 video frames from 96 participants in 32 three-person groups.
