Chiral hybrid organic-inorganic metal halides are highly promising chiroptoelectronic materials with potential applications in several fields, such as circularly polarized photodetectors, second-order nonlinear optics, and spin-selective devices. However, the ability of manipulating the chiroptical response and the chirality transfer from the organic ligands require one to shed light on structure-property correlations. Chiral 2D and quasi-2D hybrid organic-inorganic perovskites (HOIPs) are emerging as promising materials for a variety of applications principally related to optoelectronics and spintronics, thanks to the combined benefits deriving from both the chiral cation and the perovskite structure. Since its recent birth, this research field is tremendously growing, focalizing on the chemical composition tuning to unveil its influence on the related functional properties as well as on developing devices for practical applications. The purpose of this investigation was to compare the effects of three different concurrent training (CT) programs and a resistance training (RT) program. Twenty-three resistance trained men (age: 24 ± 3 years) were randomized into four groups: concurrent RT and high intensity interval cycling (CTH, n = 6), concurrent RT and moderate intensity continuous cycling (CTM, n = 5), RT and barbell circuit training (RTC, n = 6), or RT only (RT, n = 6). There is increasing interest in the role of metal halide perovskites for heterogeneous catalysis. Here, we report a Ge-based 2D perovskite material that shows intrinsic water stability realized through organic cation engineering. Incorporating 4-phenylbenzilammonium (PhBz) we demonstrate, by means of extended experimental and computational results, that PhBzGeBr and PhBzGeI can achieve relevant air and water stability.
