[Clinical characteristics and prognosis of acute erythroleukemia in children].

Objectives: To investigate the clinical characteristics and prognosis of acute erythroleukemia (AEL) in children.

Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data, treatment, and prognosis of 8 children with AEL treated at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2013 to December 2023.

Results: Among the 7 patients with complete bone marrow morphological analysis, 4 exhibited trilineage dysplasia, with a 100% incidence of erythroid dysplasia (7/7), a 71% incidence of myeloid dysplasia (5/7), and a 57% incidence of megakaryocytic dysplasia (4/7).

The development of a inhaled nanodrug delivery assessment platform is crucial for advancing treatments for chronic lung diseases. Traditional in vitro models and commercial aerosol systems fail to accurately simulate the complex human respiratory patterns and mucosal barriers. To address this, we have developed the breathing mucociliary-on-a-chip (BMC) platform, which replicates mucociliary clearance and respiratory dynamics in vitro.

[The Role of Matrix Metalloproteinase-13 in Multiple Myeloma].

Objective: To investigate the role of matrix metalloproteinase-13 ( ) in the development, diagnosis and prognosis of multiple myeloma (MM).

Methods: Blood samples of 57 MM patients and 45 normal controls were collected, and real-time PCR was performed to detect the mRNA expression level in the study subjects, and the difference of mRNA level between MM patients and normal controls was compared. The correlations of with MM bone disease and its severity, ISS stage, DS stage, and treatment efficacy were analyzed.

This study investigated the mechanism by which kaempferol(KAE) affected intervertebral disc degeneration(IDD) through the p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase(p38 MAPK) signaling pathway. Rats were randomly divided into five groups: control group, model group, low-dose KAE group, medium-dose KAE group, and high-dose KAE group. An IDD model was established by needle puncture of the caudal intervertebral discs.

Background: Biopsy is the gold standard method for diagnosing liver fibrosis. FibroScan is a non-invasive method of diagnosing liver fibrosis, but it still faces some limitations. This study aimed to establish a nomogram model and identify patients at high risk of advanced liver fibrosis associated with hepatitis B infection.

To analyze the distribution and drug resistance of pathogens of bacterial bloodstream infection in patients with hematological diseases in the Department of Hematology of Tianjin Medical University General Hospital, and to provide etiological data for clinical empirical anti-infection treatment. A retrospective analysis was conducted on the general clinical information, pathogenic bacteria and drug susceptibility test results of patients with hematological diseases diagnosed with bacterial bloodstream infection by menstrual blood culture in our center from January 2016 to December 2022. Patients included 498 inpatients, with a total of 639 bacterial strains.

As an important process for enhancing aroma of Wuyi rock tea, roasting has gradually been applied to the processing of bud green tea (BGT). However, there is a lack of comprehensive research on the impact of roasting on BGT aroma. This research provides a detailed analysis of the changes in aroma perception and compounds during the low-temperature roasting process (105°C, 90 minutes) of BGT.

[Application of high-throughput drug sensitivity testing in children with relapsed and refractory acute leukemia].

Objectives: To explore the current application of high-throughput drug sensitivity (HDS) testing in children with relapsed and refractory acute leukemia (RR-AL) and analyze the feasibility of salvage treatment plans.

Methods: A retrospective collection of clinical data from children with RR-AL who underwent HDS testing at the Department of Children's Hematology and Oncology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from November 2021 to October 2023 was conducted, followed by an analysis of drug sensitivity results and treatment outcomes.

Results: A total of 17 children with RR-AL underwent HDS testing, including 7 cases of relapsed refractory acute myeloid leukemia and 10 cases of relapsed refractory acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
