Nigeria is one of the developing countries with a major burden of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) without a disease self-management program in its healthcare system. Thus, this study was aimed to assess the baseline self-efficacy levels of Nigerian patients with chronic NCDs at tertiary level hospitals. Background: Knowledge of COVID-19 preventive measures, in addition to appropriate practices of such measures, remains a necessity for the prevention of contracting COVID-19 by nurses. This study assessed nurses' knowledge and practice of COVID-19 preventive strategies. It also determined the influence of sociodemographic variables on the knowledge of preventive measures for COVID-19 among nurses.

Hyperglycaemic complication is the most common cause of hospitalization amongst diabetes patients in Nigeria. Research showed that diabetes self-management education (DSME) assists in controlling hyperglycaemia in diabetes patients.
