[The specificities of the online focal group: an integrative review].

The scope of this study is to analyze the specificities of conception and execution of the different modalities of online focus groups (OFGs), a qualitative technique that is an alternative to a traditional focus group, due to the social distancing required by the COVID-19 pandemic. An integrative literature review was conducted in PubMed Central and BVS. National and international studies published in the last 10 years that describe and discuss OFGs were included.

Primary care and public health services integration in Brazil's unified health system.

Objectives: We examined associations between transdisciplinary collaboration, evidence-based practice, and primary care and public health services integration in Brazil's Family Health Strategy. We aimed to identify practices that facilitate service integration and evidence-based practice.

Methods: We collected cross-sectional data from community health workers, nurses, and physicians (n = 262).

Effect of vegetable oil (Brazil nut oil) and mineral oil (liquid petrolatum) on dental biofilm control.

Dental biofilm control represents a basic procedure to prevent caries and the occurrence of periodontal diseases. Currently, toothbrushes and dentifrices are used almost universally, and the employment of good oral hygiene allows for appropriate biofilm removal by both mechanical and chemical control. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of adding vegetable or mineral oil to a commercially available dentifrice in dental biofilm control.

International Participatory Research Framework: triangulating procedures to build health research capacity in Brazil.

This study advances Community-based Participatory Research (CBPR) by presenting a set of triangulated procedures (steps and actions) that can facilitate participatory research in myriad international settings. By using procedural triangulation-the combination of specific steps and actions as the basis for the International Participatory Research Framework (IPRF)-our approach can improve the abilities of researchers and practitioners worldwide to systematize the development of research partnerships. The IPRF comprises four recursive steps: (i) contextualizing the host country; (ii) identifying collaborators in the host country; (iii) seeking advice and endorsement from gatekeepers and (iv) matching partners' expertise, needs and interests.

Morphology of the dentin on primary molars after the application of phosphoric acid under different conditions.

The aim of this study was to evaluate changes in the superficial dentin pattern of primary teeth after applying different phosphoric acid concentrations and conditioning times. Twenty-four dentin surfaces were divided in 4 groups with 10 teeth each: GI -no treatment; GII to GIV -phosphoric acid at 37%, 32%, and 10% respectively. The samples were divided into two halves: one treated for 7 seconds (T1) and the other one for 15 seconds (T2).

In vivo and in vitro study of the shear bond strength of brackets bonded to enamel using halogen or LED light.

Aim: To evaluate the shear bond strength in vivo and in vitro of metallic brackets bonded to human teeth with light-curing bonding material, using two types of light-curing units.

Methods: Sixty human premolars were divided into six groups. In the GI and GII groups, the brackets were directly bonded to volunteers' maxillary and mandibular second premolars on the right and left sides, respectively, of their mouths.
